Annual tuition is charged for the 3-year course of study (60 credits). Upon completion of the course of study, a dissertation preparation fee of $2250 is charged per semester. Most students complete their dissertation within 4 semesters.
Travel, Food, & Lodging
IDSVA provides room and board during the twenty-four day residency at Spannocchia Castle and covers lodging costs at other residency locations, such as Berlin, Venice, Paris, and New York. IDSVA also covers the cost of curriculum-related travel during a residency period, as for example, from Spannocchia to Florence, Venice, or Paris. Students are responsible for travel cost to and from residency locations, as for example, between their home and Italy, and between their home and New York. In New York, Berlin, Venice, and Paris, students are responsible for most of their own meals.
